AMERICAN INDIAN PROGRAM COUNCIL MISSION AND GOALS
MISSIONThe mission of the Denver Federal Executive Board/American Indian Program Council (DFEB/AIPC) is to address issues that impact the employability of American Indians.
GOALS
To serve as an information liaison between
Federal agencies and American Indian Tribes, organizations and individuals to improve
recruitment and increase awareness of federal employment.
To unite, under a Denver Federal Executive Board
(DFEB) Council, individuals designated as AIPC Representatives.
To serve as a focal point within DFEB for the
interagency coordination of activities pertaining to American Indians to eliminate
unnecessary duplication.
To assist Federal managers in increasing the
recruitment, promotions and retention of American Indians in the Federal Workforce.
To educate Federal agencies on American Indian issues.
To inform and educate Federal agencies on American Indian Council activities and serve as advisors to EEO managers in matters affecting the employment & advancement of American Indians.
To be a resource to Federal agencies in improving service delivery to American Indians.
To assist Federal agencies in developing, and support community programs which promote employment & educational opportunities for American Indian youth.
