AMERICAN INDIAN PROGRAM COUNCIL MISSION AND GOALS

MISSION

The mission of the Denver Federal Executive Board/American Indian Program Council (DFEB/AIPC) is to address issues that impact the employability of American Indians.

 

GOALS

diam04.gif (664 bytes)    To serve as an information liaison between Federal agencies and American Indian Tribes, organizations and individuals to improve recruitment and increase awareness of federal employment.

diam04.gif (664 bytes)   To unite, under a Denver Federal Executive Board (DFEB) Council, individuals designated as AIPC Representatives.

diam04.gif (664 bytes)   To serve as a focal point within DFEB for the interagency coordination of activities pertaining to American Indians to eliminate unnecessary duplication.

diam04.gif (664 bytes)   To assist Federal managers in increasing the recruitment, promotions and retention of American Indians in the Federal Workforce.

diam04.gif (664 bytes)   To inform and educate Federal agencies on American Indian Council activities and serve as advisors to EEO managers in matters affecting the employment & advancement of American Indians.
